AEG/Leopard offices will accept the application for “Return Visa Long Stay”

Where should I apply?

  • You are not free to choose at which mission of a Schengen state to apply. You have to apply at the mission of the country where your main destination / longest stay will be or if it is difficult to determine (e.g. cruises, bus tours) you must apply from the mission of the first point of entry. If you are not sure (equal time in several countries), please contact the French Embassy at visas.islamabad-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr .Sufficient proof has to be submitted about the complete stay in the Schengen Territory.
All appointments to submit visa applications on ordinary passports are to be made through AEG Travel Services (Pvt) Ltd. in one of their 10 Locations in Pakistan. AEG offices will be opened from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with the exception of national holidays. All intended visa applicants are required to get the appointment in advance from AEG Office and pay service charges at the designated Public Service Centers.

The Embassy of France strongly advises to book an appointment well in advance: one month before travelling is standard and it should not be less than 2 weeks in advance for a Schengen visa. Delays to get an appointment in the summer season have to be taken into account as well. Remember that you may apply for a Schengen visa up to 6 months before your actual travel.

Applicants or their representative have to visit nearest AEG office with all the relevant documents and passport to get their appointment. No appointment will be issued over telephone and email.

Please keep AEG Receipt safely for any future correspondence, passport tracking and Passport collection.

The new student Visa application process takes place with effect from February 1st, 2023. The student visa (visa de long séjour) is for a long stay of more than 3 months issued only for the purpose of study in France. The application must be done through the Etudes en France platform.

WHAT IS ETUDES EN FRANCE?
The Etudes en France (EEF) procedure is the service established by the French government in order to centralize and facilitate all the processes associated with studying in France. This service is strictly online. Non-European students, who reside outside the European Union territory and wish to pursue their higher education in France, are thus required to submit applications to their schools of choice on this online platform. They must equally use this platform when submitting their applications for the student visa (long stay visa of more than 3 months).

For 2023, the EEF platform will only be compulsory for students with an admission letter applying for a visa.
